Dr Nadja Wüstemann specialises in advising on German and European environmental, waste and energy law. She has particular expertise in the area of extended product responsibility, especially with regard to packaging, electrical and electronic equipment and batteries. She also specialises in advising and representing her clients in contract drafting and negotiating with regard to waste supply agreements and property-related contaminated site and remediation issues. In energy law matters Dr Nadja Wüstemann advises companies on both the supply and demand side on sales and contract law issues, increasingly in terms of renewable energies. She advises both large and medium-sized companies and has extensive experience in litigation in administrative and civil court proceedings.
Dr Nadja Wüstemann has been with LEITFELD Rechtsanwälte since January 2024 and has worked in public commercial law with a focus on environmental, waste and energy law since she was admitted to the bar in 2004. She worked for more than eight years as a lawyer in a nationally renowned environmental law firm and for more than four years in the energy law team of a large international commercial law firm.
Dr Nadja Wüstemann studied law at the Universities of Marburg and Cologne. She completed her doctorate in 2010 on a topic related to energy efficiency.
